      Day 40, Monday, July 19th: Sterling to Harvey County Park (7 miles east of Newton, KS in 104 degree heat)

      Day 42, Wednesday, July 21st: Eureka to Girard, KS (our 2nd century off-route bypassing the Verdigris River)

      Day 60, Sunday, August 8th: Hazard to Elkhorn City, KY (Off-route to Elkhorn Creek, bypassing Pippa Passes)
      Day 61, Monday, August 9th: Elkhorn City, KY to Elk Grove Methodist Church (outside of Rosedale, VIRGINIA!)
