1st day - Philadelphia PA to almost Columbia PA: Several small climbs & hot, not rain.
2nd day – Columbia PA to Caledonia St. Park: Rolling hills & one big climb.
3rd day - Caledonia St. Park to Breezewood PA: Rolling hills, a few steep hills, TUNNELS!
4th day - Breezewood to Shawnee State Park: Short day but steep hills
5th day - Shawnee State Park to Ohiopyle State Park: One big hill, a headwind, then down hill to a flat rail trail. Halfway there.
6th day - Ohiopyle State Park to Washington, PA: Flat in the rain then more up & down.
7th Day - Washington, PA to Barkcamp State Park, OH: Three more PA hills, a West Virginia hill, an OH hill. Ice cream, rain & ribs.
8th day - Barkcamp State Park to Zanesville, OH: Gentle hills & dodging rain.
9th day - Zanesville to south of Columbus: Oops on the route, more rain dodging & headwinds, good lunch.
10th day - south of Columbus to Yellow Springs: Clear, calm, flat, done!
Extra, 11th day - Yellow Springs to the Indiana line: 60 miles into the wind just to say we’d done it.
