Day 8 - Salome to Wickenburg, AZ: Pretty good day with mixed wind conditions and gradual climb
Day 9 - Wickenburg to Phoenix: Good ride into a major metropolitan area
Day 10 - Rest day in Phoenix, AZ: Resting up for the climbs ahead
Day 11 - Phoenix to Gold Canyon: Short day out of the Phoenix Metro

Day 25 - Langtry to Del Rio, TX: No Country for Old Men (where the movie was filmed)
Day 26 - Del Rio to Uvalde, TX: As easier day and everything turned green
Day 27 - Uvalde to Hondo, TX: An easy day and good BBQ
Day 28 - Hondo to Boerne, TX: Good day in the hills with nice people from Texas
Day 29 - Boerne to San Marcos, TX: Good ride today mostly downhill and over half way across the USA
Day 30 - San Marcos to Bastrop, TX: An easy day to a break
Day 31 - Rest Day in Georgetown, TX: Just resting visiting family
Day 32 - Bastrop to Brenham, TX: A little off route in East Texas
Day 33 - Brenham to Conroe, TX: Trying to beat the rain
Day 34 - Conroe to Kountze, TX: Dodging storms in the Pine Woods of East Texas
Day 35 - Kountze, TX to DeRidder, LA: After eighteen days of Texas now in Louisiana "Laissez les bon temps roulet" Let the good times roll

Day 43 - Gulf Shores to Milton, FL: Ridin' the Redneck Riviera all the way to Bagdad

Day 47 - Tallahassee to Madison, FL: US 90 much prettier today and a surprise visit to Ray Charles Hometown
Day 48 - Madison to Lake City, FL: I know. I know. My butt won't stop hurting until I quit riding.
Day 49 - Lake City to Jacksonville International Airport, FL: Finally a tailwind takes me all the way past Jacksonville
Day 50 - Jacksonville International Airport to Fernandina Beach and on to Kingsland, GA: To the Atlantic and still riding
Day 51 - Kingsland to Darien, GA: Don't prejudge what a state will be like
Day 52 - Darien to Pooler, GA: An easy day in the Low Country
Day 53 - Pooler, GA Rest Day: Letting the rain pass
Day 54 - Pooler, GA to Walterboro, SC: The worst roads of the entire trip
Day 55 - Walterboro to Manning, SC: A little better day South Carolina Roads
Day 56 - Manning to Dillon, SC: One more day in the SC low country to just south of the border
Day 57 - Dillon, SC to Pembroke, NC: Nice short day, friendly people and a tailwind - what could be better for the last day
