Day2 Orere Point to Tapu: battling the winds

Blenheim to Hanmer Springs via the Molesworth Road
Day 44 Blenheim to Camden Station Backpackers: end of the tarmac for a while
Day45 Camden Station to Molesworth:cycle tourists everywhere
Day 46 Molesworth to Acheron: over the highest point and into rain
Days 47-49 Acheron to Hanmer Springs: back to real coffee and rest
Day 50 Hanmer Springs to Sedgmere Lakes: over the highest road in NZ
Days 51-52 Sedgmere Lakes to St Arnaud: rough roads before tarmac reappears
Day 53 St Arnaud to Murchison: not the direct route
Days 54-55 Murchison to Westport: down the Buller Gorge
Day 56 Westport to Punakaiki: start of the West Coast
Day57 Punakaiki -Fox River and return: a walk in the river

Days 63-65 Pine Grove to Haast: another gem of a day then rest time
Day 66 Haast to Makarora; back riding in sinshine
Days 67-68 Makarora to Wanaka: short but scenically magic day and a rest day
Day 69 Wanaka to some grass by a river: in and out of Queenstown double quick
Day 70 grass by river to Te Anau: a gravel road too far
Days 71-73 Te Anau: going nowhere for this reason and that
Day 74 Te Anau to Tuatapere: back to sunshine and light winds
Day 75 Tuatapere to Riverton: short and easy
Days 76-77 Riverton to Invercargill: even shorter and easier and then a day off
Day 78 Invercargill to Curio Bay: into the Catlins region
Day 79 Curio Bay to Owaka: a day in the rain for a change
Day 80 Owaka to Waihola: a birthday ride day
Day 81 Waihola to Dunedin: big hills on the way to the big city
