I've been cycling more-or-less seriously since 1979. My "resume" includes numerous week-long organized (supported) tours plus a few short examples of the do-it-yourself variety.

In addition to cycling I am interested in racquetball, crossword puzzles, and occasional woodworking. By academic training I'm a geologist although I've never committed any professionally; my career has taken me from a data analyst through working programmer to project manager.

I live and work in Maryland.
